In nearly 11 months we assessed over ten dozen of websites and collected massive amounts of data. Overall, we were quite impressed with our findings.

Again, we reviewed the 20 hosting service companies, using the following criteria:

Reliability - Was the hosting service (including customer service) reliable?
Ease of Use - Was the service simple to use?

"Our Top Selection for 2019"

After reviewing the Top 20 web hosting companies, we determined that BlueHost was our top choice.

While several top and well-known hosting companies had come close, BlueHost simply offered an all-around strong and value added package for its customers.

We were simply impressed with BlueHost's product offerings. First let's talk value. BlueHost offers incredible packages starting at $3.95 a month where customers get unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth, and tons of free add-ons such as free "Site Building" software, emails, auto-responders, and over 4,500 free site templates.

And Unlike other companies, we never felt we were getting fees tacked on for a variety of necessary add-ons. With no hidden fees, this consistently reminded us that BlueHost was really about value and customer satisfaction. Further, they also provide shared SSL Certificates and depending on the service a free toll-free number.

With the pricing and their product offerings, they simply beat out the competition with superb value. Yet, what about the reliability of their web hosting services? We know that your website's ultimate success depends on whether it can be up and running 100% of the time. Anything short of that may be detrimental to your business or mission. With BlueHost, we very impressed as we found their service to be very reliable. In fact, not once did any of our sites that range in the dozens have a single problem with them for nearly a year's time. Our websites ran smoothly and effortlessly without a single hitch.

Aside from value and reliability, we assessed another essential factor that is important to us and most customers: was it simple to use. The days are long gone when it was difficult to upload your website online, but even today there are plenty of companies that just don't understand the value of simplicity. BlueHost isn't one of those companies. Their user-friendly dashboard and control panel is a snap to work with. We felt that they really lead the way when it comes to ease-of-use. We simply loved working with them.

In addition, like all of our other sites, we called their customer service representative a few times and found that they were all extremely knowledgeable and helpful. While not officially on our list of categories to judge it is nice to know that real people who understand potential pitfalls stand waiting to help.

Coming in at a very close second is HostGator, a company who has emerged on the scene a few years ago and has never looked back. Blue Host is among the newer top companies who have driven prices down and value up, literally changing the industry.

And just like BlueHost, they offer some great packages that include unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited domain hosting, unlimited GB file transfer, unlimited email accounts, free site builder domains, and tons of tools.

In addition to their great value packaging, you also get SSL certificate options and anti-spam tools.

Though our first Top Pick offered considerable value, we found that HostGator came in a close second place. The only gripe is that HostGator was a bit more expensive than our first choice.

Yet, HostGator hosting is a very strong web hosting solution for anyone wanting to upload their site online with an affordable and highly reliable company.

3. iPage Hosting

iPage was our third top pick. We weren't surprised the iPage had found itself in the top tier of a very competitive field of companies vying for your business. We simply loved this company. They have been making lots of good headlines recently, touting their computer servers and system reliability and we could see why with their outstanding value and recent investment in web servers.

No doubt, iPage has made in-roads as very reputable hosting solution that is very affordable. For only $2.95 per month, iPage offers a value-packed system that is reliable and fairly easy to use. While their list of options aren't as extensive, they are reliable, which is why they find themselves near the top of the field.

iPage remains one of our favorite web hosting options and is solidly our third and final choice.
